I download my email from my ISP server. Can anyone tell me where it is stored on my hard driveπ I can't find it and am hoping to recover lost email from my backed up removable archive drive.

Also, I can't seem to recreate the little task bar I had at the bottom of my screen that held icons of my most-used programs.

And I can't seem to get Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) to show up. I'm very used to accessing files though the detailed directory rather than through the My Computer links on the "Start" icon.

I don't know what you mean by WinExplorer not showing up (I don't use the Start button menus often either, I use mostly either the Quick Launch toolbar or regular Desktop icons), and I'm not sure about the email (I use IE and Outlook, not Netscape). But for the Quick Launch toolbar, which is the little bottom toolbar you were referring to, try right-clicking the empty grey stripe to the right of the start button, select "Toolbars" and check "Quick Launch". Maybe the other options you need are there too, I see something named "Desktop" that I don't use.

One idea about the location of the email files, is to do a search with the name of an email folder you are sure about, such as Inbox, and see what comes up.
