Hello A friend of mine send me an URL of the Dutch artist Jan G. Marque. This artist makes paintings inspired by philosophy, old civilications and old knowledge. Very beautiful and recommended. His titles are in English. You can click on the links on the left side to get to the paintings. Then click on the images to enlarge. www.jan-marque.exto.nl |

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, and welcome to the Board, belatedly! I visited the website, and Jan Marque paints great ancient landscapes! I'm impressed. I tend to like MC Escher drawings, but these are attractive in a whole different way! Machiavelli was pretty devious. For a guy... |

I missed this too. Looks like Marque could illustrate Guy Gavriel Kay novels quite nicely! Thanks! Scott ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Ces gens, Jondalar, ils sourient. Ils me sourient. - Ayla |

Looking at the site again, I notice that Marque has a love of orange... Blue, too (and they are opposite on the color chart) As orange is not a common wall color, framed prints should brighten up any room. If I had some available wall space, I would buy some prints. Thank you, Carl Sagan... |
